Rock im Park organisers have annouced the first batch of bands for Rock im Park. The confirmed line up includes huge world stars including the killers and placebo. Rock im Park takes place between the 5th and 7th June 2009. Together with the sister event rock am ring over 150,000 people rocked at the biggest music festival in Germany.

The Rock Im Park Festival is the Sister festival to rock am ring, and like the V Festival in England it takes place over the same weekend as rock am ring and the acts play both sites.
So where does rock im park take place?
It takes place at the Frankenstadion in Nürnberg, in the south east of Germany. It is between Frankfurth and Munich.
